Definition of Boudoir
Boudoir is a photography genre that caters to ordinary women who wish to celebrate their femininity, beauty and naturalness through personalized shots.
You do not need to be a model or meet a certain conception of “perfection” imposed by stereotypes: any woman can choose to devote herself to this type of service at any time.
Unlike glamour or nude, Boudoir photography is distinguished by its sensuality, delicacy, elegance and intimacy. The goal is to enhance the female form, accommodating even small flaws, with a safe and respectful space to make women feel comfortable.

What is Boudoir for me?
- A celebration of the feminine
In the boudoir, the woman is the center of everything; she is the SUBJECT of the photos, not the OBJECT. It is a time dedicated to rediscovering and celebrating one’s feminine essence, whatever form it takes. The woman is never an object to be observed, but a presence to be listened to and respected. - Freedom and awareness
Every woman is free to choose how she wants to represent herself: my boudoir does not impose a predefined style or message. You decide what you want to express and how to do it: you can be more sensual, sporty, elegant, colorful, casual… All to the extent you desire.
I, as a photographer, accompany this journey, following your desires and limitations. - A personal experience
It is a time of introspection and discovery, an experience that allows you to reconnect with yourself, your self-worth and your value. The boudoir is a celebration of your uniqueness, not a performance for someone else. - Safety and respect
During the session you set the boundaries. We will not do anything that is not in line with what you want and feel comfortable with-I am here to create a safe space where you can express yourself freely and always feel respected. - A unique and authentic message
Every woman has a different story to tell, and each boudoir service is unique because it is based on your personality, your style and what you wish to convey. There are no copies or prepackaged models, only authenticity. - A shared philosophy
For me, boudoir is more than just photography: it is a message of respect, freedom and awareness.
Everyone who works with me must share these same values. It is a matter of professional integrity and respect for all the women who choose to undertake this experience with me.

What is Boudoir not for me?
- It is not pornography
My boudoir has nothing to do with vulgar images or images that aim to objectify the female body. It is not about provocation for its own sake, but about telling an authentic, respectful and personal story. - It is not an imposition
One key thing: No one can come to me and request specific photos on behalf of someone else without that person really agreeing. Boudoir is a personal and voluntary journey. It must start with the woman and her sincere will, never with an external request to be fulfilled so as not to disappoint. - Not a standard of beauty
I don’t believe in rigid models or aesthetic canons. It doesn’t matter your physique, your age or your appearance. Boudoir is a way to express who you really are, not to try to adhere to a standard imposed by others. - It’s not cover glamour
I don’t try to imitate the style of glossy magazines. My goal is not to create fake or unattainable images, but to tell your real beauty, the one that makes you unique and authentic. - It is not excessive retouching
I am not here to remove supposed flaws or distort your appearance. The retouching is minimal and is only to enhance the photo, not to change who you are. Beauty is already in you, not in artificial Photoshop perfection. - Does not meet all requirements
I will not accept any kind of work. If a request does not respect my vision of boudoir or goes against my values, I will feel free to reject it. This kind of photography requires attunement and mutual respect. - It is not for men
The boudoir I make is dedicated exclusively to women. It is a time of introspection and celebration of the feminine, and for me it is essential to keep this dimension intimate and personal.

What is the purpose of a Boudoir photo shoot?
As a woman, I well understand the insecurities related to our appearance,self-esteem, and the constant comparison with other women who seem more beautiful to us.
We often desire the features of those we admire to improve what we do not like about ourselves.
Boudoir works as a kind of therapy for self-esteem: it helps us accept our bodies, with their merits and flaws, and allows us to shift our attention from others to ourselves, discovering our strengths.
During a Boudoir service, the woman celebrates her own authenticity and freedom, embracing both the imperfections and perfections of her body. It is a signal of transformation and mental change.
