Wedding favors are a tradition in Italian weddings, but today more than ever they are not a fundamental element. All too often I see brides and grooms being interrupted in the middle of the balls to distribute wedding favors to people who expect to receive it personally by hand. Wedding confetti: yes or no?
A classic for weddings are the accompaniment of sugared al monds to the item chosen for the wedding favor. Very often famous marches are chosen (e.g., Sulmona’s sugared almonds), but not necessarily all couples are interested in the addition of this item in their wedding favors: also consider including other types of candy in your wedding favor, especially if it can relate back to the theme of your wedding.
Take for example the idea of a wedding inspired by the world of magic: in the famous “Harry Potter” there are many iconic candies, such as jelly beans all flavors + 1 or Chocolates.
In this case, a couple who chooses this theme could replace their confetti with colorful fruit jellies or chocolates that are reminiscent of those in the movie!
Take advantage of this aspect of favor-related details to break out of the classic canons and give even more personality to your wedding.
The cost of the wedding favor should be in line with your budget and wedding style
If your wedding is largely the result of do-it-yourself solutions or if you generally do not consider the wedding favor an item on which to spend exorbitant amounts of money, the cost of the little thought you will deliver can vary between 3 and 15 euros. It all depends on the material you will choose to make it if you want to do it yourself (wax, fimo, salt dough or braiding threads do not have a high cost) or the type of supplier you will turn to.

Try to figure out how important wedding favors really are to you and really consider what aligns with your wedding. Make the detail of wedding favors an original element of your day and not an additional source of stress.
